Who’s behind Unstager?
Unstager is my answer to the “We Buy Ugly Houses” hawks. They find people at the worst moment of their lives — a divorce, an inheritance, a job three states away — and offer cash today for tens of thousands under what the house is worth. It works because a lived-in house photographs badly, and the seller can’t picture competing with a flipper’s polished listing.
Now they can. $49 makes your photos look like a pro shot them, and your house goes to market on the same footing as everyone else’s. That’s the whole fight: $49 to me, or $24,000 to the guy on the billboard.

Beating a flipper’s listing takes someone who knows what a photo has to do — and someone who can build the machine that does it. Lucky for you, that’s the same résumé.
I’ve built and shipped companies before this one. I know how to get a real product into real hands without a war chest.
I’ve made campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the country. That work teaches you exactly what an image has to accomplish in the half-second before someone scrolls past it.
Patented a method for translation workflow. Every part of Unstager — the three models, the inspector that grades each edit, the pipeline that corrects itself — I built and maintain myself.

The rest of the team
My trusty sidekick supervises every build from the couch, entirely unconvinced. She has never once approved a listing photo with a sofa still in it, which is more or less the whole product.

Spark Point Studio is my company, in Knoxville, Tennessee — Unstager is what it makes. Worth knowing up front, because the name follows you around: mail from me arrives from andy@sparkpoint.studio, and your receipt comes from Spark Point Studio rather than Unstager. Same one-man shop, same machine. Nothing has gone wrong.
